You are the architect of your life
Considering all that matters in life, there is enough provision for you to live a much more successful life than you currently experience! The people we term “successful” do not have two heads. They just took charge of their lives. They have been able to harness their GOD-given ability to create the kind of life they want for themselves.
Yes, it looks so simple and easy but majority of people fail to achieve success. Why? Because they continue to the wrong things. Myles Munroe said that the fact that what you are doing seems to be correct does not make it to be the right thing to do.
The switch board of life has both right and wrong buttons; the right buttons of success and the wrong buttons of failure. You need to differentiate between the two if you want to succeed in life. You should not blindly push any button. Be selective! Life is not a gamble!
Any creative activity is a right button and any time wasting activity is a wrong button. Develop the habit of indulging yourself in creative activities and avoid time wasting activities. A successful person keeps working on improving himself every minute. He ensures that he learns something new everyday. He equips himself with relevant books and also attend seminars that he knows are important to his growth all the time and thus keeps on flying high on the aeroplane of success.
In a free society, we are all at liberty to live our lives at our own will. It is just like a loaded pistol in our hands. We can either kill our enemies with it or ourselves. Most people kill themselves even without realizing it. They only realize their mistake when they are faced with multiple failures and end up in poverty, misery and bankruptcy. Before it is too late, one must stop pushing the wrong buttons.
Draw a switch board of your life. Indicate all your right and wrong buttons; your positive and negative habits; your creative as well as time wasting activities, etc. Make a firm commitment to yourself today that you will never again push the wrong buttons. Cross out all the wrong buttons from the switch board of your life.
Concentrate on the right buttons and let the doors of success open for you. Look for reliable people who are also interested in self-improvement then you can share your views with them. You can both encourage and motivate one another to work on the success plan of your lives. Above all, dare to succeed. Walk the pathway of success.

[...] I have heard it times without number that life is unfair. But is this true? Is life really unfair? Will it be fair for me to say that life is all about perception and what you do? You do not need to agree with me now but that is the truth. Wait…millions of naira exchanged hands in this same Nigeria every day. Some you see with your physical eyes and others through electronic means but yet a lot still find it hard to feed. [...]
[...] Once you decide on what you want to do in life (taking up paid-employment, starting a business, getting that degree etc.), make a commitment to follow through on your plan. Things would not come that cheap. You would even encounter some difficulties on the way and you would feel like giving up. Stay at it. [...]
