A popular Yoruba proverb says —
O n wa owo lo, O pade iyi lona, ti o ba lowo tan, shebi iyi ni o fi ra.
Meaning you are looking for money and met honour, if you make money, is it not honor you will buy with it?
That is the essence of everything – the ability to know your end goal and keep it in mind. The pursuit of money is interesting but when the money comes, will it be at certain irredeemable prices? I guess it should not. Thanks Emmanuel for this. I hope people remember this always.
